Kaseler
There is nothing more mineral
The village of Kasel is surrounded by steep vineyards between Mertesdorf and Waldrach in the Ruwer valley. The wines produced here, from a basic quality wine up to Spätlese, are mostly dry and off-dry at Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier. The nearby hills protect the vines from the cold north and east winds. In addition, the slate soil retains good moisture and allows the vines to grow deeply.
